DIY: Snowman Door Wrap!

Work Time: 15 mins

One element of the holiday season that I can’t do without is a good DIY. While holiday decorating can be a real pain, I have found this project to be quite fun and easy to create. After the holidays I store my snowman cutouts in a small folder for safekeeping.

So! If you’re looking for something last minute, this may be the project for you!

Happy Crafting!

Supplies

Materials

  • Construction paper (Orange & Black) you might need a few sheets depending one how many doors you plan to cover.
  • Holiday Wrapping paper
  • Cardboard
  • Scissors
  • Box Cutter
  • Ruler
  • Double sided tape

Crafting Steps

The Scarf: You will be using wrapping paper to create the scarf. Start by measuring the width of your door. Then add six to seven inches down.

Cut wrapping paper accordingly then tape to your door. If you have any extra paper on the sides, tape down the edges.

Eyes & Nose: Using the black construction paper draw five to six small circles for the mouth, followed by two medium/large circles for the eyes. Add double-sided tape to the back of each cut-out and stick.

Hat: Using a large piece of cardboard, draw a large square followed by a rectangle underneath. The measurements don’t have to be perfect.

Cut wrapping paper accordingly to your hat measurements, then add to your cardboard using glue or double-sided tape. Apply extra tape to the back of the hat then apply to your door.
