There’s something unforgettable about taking road trips with friends. I had the pleasure of attending a Yelp Elite Field Trip to Southern Distilling Company in Statesville, NC. 

Nikki (Our Community Manager) and her Bestie Lauren, arranged everything! This trip was filled with unforgettable moments and great booze!

Southern Distilling Company is located in Statesville, NC. A small 1Hour hike from the Charlotte area. Definitely, carpool with your favorite roadies and a few good snacks. Our Yelp Squad road a party bus. Once we arrived the real fun began! The visit included a tour, distillery tastings and an opportunity to purchase the spirits you tasted. But wait… Just a head up, if you have a piece of (insert noun) phone like I do, you may not have service…. ask for the wifi password.

Upon arrival, we watched a quick movie and heard about the humble beginning of Southern Distilling Company. We split into two groups, one group went on a tour, the other a tasting. The staff is very knowledgeable and passionate about their products. During the tour, we were given more samples. 

Overall, I had a great time on this trip. Thank you again Southern Distilling Company for accommodating us!
